Last night at McCaw Hall, Seattle's most famous librarian, Nancy Pearl, questions Tom Hanks about his new book and thoughts on reading and literacy in general. Then, afterwards, he was nice enough to pose for a picture holding our Librarian Action Figure!

How wonderful for Nancy! It was kind of Tom Hanks to honor her also, since he is so busy.
I love my Nancy Pearl Action Figure that my husband gave me when I received my MLS from TWU Denton 2009. Wish I could post a pix of her in my office. ?
