Just like Sherlock Holmes has his Moriarty and Jerry has Newman, Santa Claus has Krampus. Krampus is a tradition that comes from Scandinavian countries where, instead of bringing gifts, Krampus kidnaps naughty boys and girls in a sack and then either beats them with a stick or drowns them in a river. Using this wrapping paper shows that you are still giving someone a gift, but you know exactly what they're up to.
Krampus is particularly celebrated on December 6th or Krampusnacht. It is traditional at this time to drink a lot of alcohol, dress up as a devil and scare small children.
